Enable debug in project options

Yes, the problem is more like Bernd Pol said :
when I enable compile with debug options, the project directory seem all
broken, and I get (at best, not always) a 'run ./configure' message and
after configure a -1 status report.

I have to make distclean too, then automake, ./configure and make to get
it back.
