Hi,
On my desktop machine, kdevelop works. On the laptop, it doesn't.
I'm using RH9, kernel 2.4.20-20.9, Qt-3.1.2-2.0.9 and kdevelop 2.1.5-6
All I get is a sigterm with the following throwback
(no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 16384 (LWP 3095)]
0x4120f6b5 in waitpid ()
from /lib/libpthread.so.0
#0 0x4120f6b5 in waitpid () from /lib/libpthread.so.0
#1 0x40962fb4 in KCrash::defaultCrashHandler(int) ()
from /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4
#2 0x4120e3fd in __pthread_sighandler () from /lib/libpthread.so.0
#3 <signal handler called>
#4 0x40e35f4b in QTabWidget::page(int) const ()
from /usr/lib/qt-3.1/lib/libqt-mt.so.3
#5 0x40834c73 in KDockManager::readConfig(KConfig*, QString) ()
from /usr/lib/libkdeui.so.4
#6 0x4082a6d9 in KDockMainWindow::readDockConfig(KConfig*, QString) ()
from /usr/lib/libkdeui.so.4
#7 0x08102dfc in CKDevelop::CKDevelop() ()
#8 0x081136f7 in main ()
#9 0x4128aa94 in __libc_start_main () from /lib/libc.so.6
Which looks like something is missing from somewhere. Does anyone know
what is causing this crash (it looks like the problem is reading the
configuration)?
I need to get kdevelop up as quickly as poss.
