Recomendación:Imprimir informes

xml, vas a necesitar utilizar un parser de xml para interpretar tu
documento, pero le brindas portabilidada al mismo.

en html, el documento sale "portable", lo puedes ver sin muchos problemas
y tambien puedes editarlo con cualquier editor..

yo me iba por html.
