little QT project error

edit the file /opt/kde3/bin/startkde (you'll need root rights) and search for 
the line "unset QTDIR".
comment this line out -> "#unset QTDIR" and restart your KDE session.

alternatively start gideon from shell, than you should not have these 
problems.
