"Enable separate terminal" option and GDB problem

Hi

I am using kdevelop on SuSE 8.2. I was able to debug my code line by line 
and step into functions and etc.
Then I decided to enable "Enable separate terminal for application i/o". 
Now gdb can not find the executable file and complains that "No such a 
file or directory"

Anyone has any idea ?
