I used Red Hat 7.3 for a long time, and all was fine for me. Then switched to
8.0, and had problems because of charsets (a lot of applications were
broken). The Kdevelop packages maybe it weren't perfect, I know, but I don't
dare to say that is a bad distribution.

Now I use Debian stable, with the packages that Ralf Nolden and Norman Jordan
provide for KDE3 and kdevelop/gideon. I'm really, really happy with my
distribution, and with the kde/kdevelop packagers. :-)

Best regards.

PS: Please, don't use "reply-to" for sending a new message. It doesn't matters
if delete the body and chage the subject, because the mailer adds some extra
headers, and break threads.
I don't understand why you, evolution users, never notice that ;-)
