The binary name is "gideon" and after a "make install" it will be in whatever
directory you told it to go to when you configured it. Generally it's your
KDE/bin directory (mine is /usr/kde/3/bin)
There's a bit of a manual start in Help -> Gideon Handbook
Otherwise, I'm working on it - been getting lots of requests lately. :)
