Access to gdb console from kdevelop

How can I send a command that is unsupported by internal kdevelop 
debugger GUI to gdb? It does not seem that kdevelop GUI gives access to 
gdb console, like emacs or DDD do.


Lack of direct talking to the debugger is a serious limitation, in my 
opinion. I cannot debug from serial, for example, or send any command to 
gdb that is unsupported by kdevelop GUI. All-in-all kdevelop gives only 
4 commands plus stack and watch views.
