Problems compiling Gideon

Hi to everybody, 

I have a small problem compiling gideon. 
Loading down the newest version (I guess 3.0a4a) I wanted to compile it using 
gcc (Version 2.95.3 20010315). But then after ./configure was completed and 
some of the compiling was over I got following error:

Somehow libkdevinterfaces.a seems to be a COFF - file but I didn't tell him to 
make one.

Does anyone of you know how to make him compile and link all linux-like????
