compiled code runs from shell, but not kdevelop

Find out your default shell [lookup in passwd file] and export/setenv
$LD_LIBRARY_PATH in the .profile/.bashrc accordingly. For example if your
default shell is bash, export that variable in your .bashrc, which would be
run before kdevelop starts.
