BCC as cross compile

Hi
A newbie here asking somewhat OT questions.

I would like to use Kdevelop (gideon) as my IDE for existing embedded 
projects. At present I am using codewrite under windows, with the borland 
compiler bcc and general software locate to produce the binaries.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to use bcc from inside 
Kdevelop?

I am aware of dosemu and wineconsole but having not used either (or read the 
manuals for them) I though I would start by asking if anyone has done this, 
or can recommend some reading matter.
