saving a custom project with gideon

Hi, I'm using gideon a5 on solaris 8 sparc built from sources.
I'm using a custom C project by using "import project" with custom C 
Makefile, I then populate it with sources under a specified directory.
All is going well and I have a class browser, but unfortunately this 
project is not automatically saved and if I quit gideon I have to repeat
each time the above procedure, is it possble to force a project save.
Is what I describe a bug (I think so!), is it planned for a future release?
