GNU Make version 3.79.1

[tarjeik at cc-intern01 tarjeik]$ rpm -q make
make-3.79.1-14

Can't quite see what the make version has got to do with this though...

Is Tim Aidley's fix (see other post) something that will go into a
bugfix release?
