compiling problem on mandrake 9 system

I have two mandrake 9 systems with kdevelop.  I don't remember the
exact order of things I used to get kdevelop working on my first
system.  I created a kdevelop project there, that uses the QT api.
It works fine.

I got kdevelop running on my laptop using the rpm's included
with mandrake 9.  If i do a dist clean/rebuild all it eventually
says success.  If i then go execute it ends in an error.

Does anyone know whats going on here?  I'll try to post a more
detailed log tomorrow.

Also is it worth to consider using the new version or is it
too buggy still?
