Kdevelop shell settings

Hi,

I normally use gcc2.9 and Qt from from KDE. For a project I need to use 
gcc3 and Qt-3.0.5-mt. I can normally compile and link using the shell 
after setting environment variables QTDIR, PATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH. 
However when I start kdevelop from the same same shell,  KDevelop still 
uses original settings. How can I specify the shell environment for 
KDevelop.
