Yup Ive noticed this but it comes back with a mouse click (left) at the desired spot.

one other "feature" is the block based editing. If I press return at the end of the line, then thats where it finishes, I shouldnt be able to click well passed it and type </gripe>

otherwise a lovely product, and stable too for me under Debian and Mandrake 8.1
