File Properties dialog

Hello,

I'm running the KDEvelop that came with KDE3beta1.  The File Properties window 
disappears immediately whenever it is opened, so I can't use it.

I tried to get the latest CVS version of KDevelop to see if the problem has 
been fixed, but the CVS version is now gideon, and is quite different from 
the version in KDE3beta1.  For example, it expects a *.kdevelop project file, 
instead of *.kdevprj.  I don't wish to ask my whole dev team to switch to the 
bleeding-edge gideon; are there bugfix versions of plain kdevelop available 
since the KDE3beta1 version?
