great problem with C source (please help)

hi list

i have done a problem with a red hat 8.0 using kdevelop
after i have installed it on a red hat 7.1
the program runs fine but now i can't do a step by step debug because kdevelop
(on the red hat 7.1)says me for every c instruction (ex:printf)  "no source"

for example   /N  32 printf .c no such file or directory
i cannot also modified anything in the debug option because now the windows 
it's all gray ,no modification are possible.
before this i could do all i wanted of course

this is very problematic for me 
what can i do? please help
