I down loaded KDE 3.0.3 from
http://gd.tuwien.ac.at/pub/kde/stable/3.0.3/RedHat/7.3/i386/
I did the following to install it and got the following
[root at localhost KDE]# rpm -Uvh *.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
libartsflow-gcc2.96.so.1 is needed by arts-1.0.3-0.7
libartsflow_idl-gcc2.96.so.1 is needed by arts-1.0.3-0.7

I have confirmed that the missing libraries are installed in my system. Since
I could not install using the -Uvh I tried the following -ivh and got the
following messages.
[root at localhost KDE]# rpm -ivh *.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
kdelibs >= 3.0.3-10 is needed by kdebase-3.0.3-0.7
[root at localhost KDE]#
I have looked for kdelibs-3.0.3-10 and did not find it. The kdelibs that I
downloaded with all the rpm's is kdelibs-3.0.3-0.7
Has anyone figured out how to install the KDE 3.0.3 in a red hat environment?
Is there something that I am doing incorrectly?
Thanks for any help that you may offer!
Michael
