Upgrading

Hi All,

I have a stock Suse 8.0 install which uses gcc-2.95.  I received some 
libraries that were compiled with gcc-3.0.4.

I think I need to use gcc-3.0.4 to compile qt, kde and kdevelop.

What all do I need to recompile - X11, all libs ???  - to create a gui 
with this (unchangeable) gcc-3.0.4 library I need to use?
