KDevelop && Apache module

I'm planning on using KDevelop to write an apache module.  I'm strong in
C/C++ (8 years), but haven't worked with apache modules yet.

1.  Are there any pre-cut projects I can just drop in and start "filling
in the blanks"?
2.  How about some Apache modules and Linux specific sites that will
help?

Any other advice?
