Some time ago here was a discussion about adding UML support to
KDevelop and kUML source as candidate was discussed. I don't know
if it's seen already but at http://uml.sourceforge.net/ a new good 
looking UML modelling tool is rising. Maybe some cooperation with
them is possible. Active project seems somewhat more promising than
almost dead kUML project.
