QT 3.0 and Kdevelop

Hello All,

I'm also too embarrassed to post this question but after many hours of
frustration I have to.

I have Kdevelop 2.0.1 and I'm trying to use it with Qt 3.0.

Qt 3.0 is installed in /usr/local/qt and on the Kdevelop setup dialog I have
qt 2x directory = /usr/local/qt. The documentation path is set similarly and
actually works correctly.

When I try to create a new project I get this error:

configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 2.2.2) (libraries) not found. Please check your
installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.

This looks like a path problem to me and after fooling around with various
links I'm no closer to the answer. A similar question was answered several
months ago but it has not helped.
