Maybe it helps:

I've observed the processes while stopping the make process.

Before pressing the "Stop" - button:
  I have 3 gmake processes.
After pressing the "Stop" - button:
  1 gmake process left...

Looks like that one process is forgotten to kill...

After killing the remaining gmake-process manually, all works fine...
