KDevelop improvement: retain file tree collapse state

KDevelop 1.4:

Please retain the collapse/expansion state of the file tree (in the Files 
tab) after deleting a file. It is annoying to have to repeatedly expand the 
tree back to the same expansion state after each deletion when deleting 
several files.

In fact, why not retain the expansion state of the Files and Classes tabs 
between sessions? Or at least provide an option to do so.
