Using VIM as the text editor in KDevelop

Wild! Anyone tried using vi to edit an upper cased based language such as COBOL?
Just leave the caps lock key down by accident, hit the 'j' key about 10 times -
and you've just loads of your source code messed up. I hope VIM has carefully
reproduced this feature ;-)....
