Can't create kde2 project.

you have not a KDE 2 installation. Another wrong thing may be that the
configure script found the kde 1 installation and tries to use the kde 1
include files. You have to set the KDE 2 dir (as well as the Qt2 dir) in
the kdevelop setup dialog, tab "Path"; to fix your problem with a
generated project you already have, delete config.cache in the main
directory of your project, call "Build" "Configure" and set the options:
--with-qt-dir=/yourqtdir2 path --prefix=/your-kde2dir
