now I tried:
kdoc: 2.0a40 (c) Sirtaj S. Kang <taj at kde.org

this seemed to be a no-op also :-(  But only on the first look! One must
be told that the conversion process only runns in background, without
any progress bar or status output. The only visible thing of it is the
cpu load in xosview ;-)
