Because it looks good, works, i'm used to it, and we have tons of code
done like that. i don't believe it's a mistake or side effect as the
other message says. A class definition should represent a 'type' value
in the c++ grammar that can be used in a typedef etc. <nyway, maybe that
notatuon it's not as common as i thought.
