Sparc64 problem

Does the program just die or does it kill windows. I have Redhat 6.1 on
an ultrasparc 1. When running kdevelop 1.1 on it, it kills X-Windows ( X
dies and restarts - I get the login panel again ). I found out if I
disable hardware excelleration, that the problem stops. When I reloaded my
O/S, I did not refix it - so I do not have particulars on how to disable
hardware excell.

Subject: Sparc64 problem

Hi,

I have got a Sparc10 workstation(32-bit) with redhat 6.2 installed on it.
I
installed the complete Cdrom on it and also installed kdevelop(V 1.1) from
the
powertool cdrom. On my Computer kdevelop runs without problems. But my
brother has got a Ultrasparc(64-bit) and made the same installation. There
kdevelop always dies after the picture of kdevelop appears. We have already
downloaded newer versions and have compiled the code, but there we have got
the
same problem.

Any idea about this problem?

	Matze
