Question about the project management part of kdevelop

Hello, we have a problem at work, we use kdevelop && gvim to develop all our software, but

not all of us use kdevelop and I want to know if is there any option to
let us manage the project from kdevelop but without the "automatic"
option, I mean, I want manage the Makefile.am my way not as Kdevelop
wants. It's possible?
