Most recent kdevelop 2

KDevelop-2.1 is in KDE_2_2_BRANCH.
KDevelop-2.1 with kate editor is in KDEVELOP_2_BRANCH, this doesnt
compile completely yet, i am working on it, please give me one more
day, since I wont get to it until tonight. 
gideon is in HEAD.

Otherwise search this list for a similar thread where this was
explained earlier. In short you need to swap the admin in kdevelop with
the admin from kde-common in KDE_3_BETA_1 to compile KDE_2_2_BRANCH for
KDE-3. If this doesnt make sense to you at all:
