Ah so it WAS a KHTML bug.. I couldn't find it in the bug database under KHTML 
but easy to miss. Actually I worked on the bug because the KDevelop bug 
#30744 wasn't closed off... perhaps these should be kept up-to-date to avoid 
unnecessary work?

My fault really though for not testing against the CVS kdelibs.
