That depends on John's time currently, which is limited to weekends right
now. If someone else is willing to help out with the debugger, I would be
very thankful here. I personally want to add remote debugging via gdbserver;
afaik kdbg allows this so it shouldn't be that much of a deal.

As said, there's some things to regard in compatibility if you still want to
decide for an automake project later if you want to target other systems and
you only want to transfer a sourcepackage. Preferrably qmake support will be
in.

We're working on this as part of the usability stuff.

We unfortunately can't do much about this. An alternative on x86 is probably
the intel linux compiler.
