Hello,

there may be an other problem (at least for Linux). For example if you have
a project named 'xxxxfs' and one of the source files is named 'xxxxfs.c'
you will run into trouble. The compile result of 'xxxxfs.c' will be
'xxxxfs.o', but the project result (which may be linked from different *.o
files together) will be named the same way by default. Kernel modules have
as far as i know always the file extension *.o.

The problem with that type of module, we must not only support Linux, but
also the *BSD variants (FreeBSD/NetBSD/OpenBSD) but I think that it's
manageable. I will give it a try , at least for linux, freebsd and openbsd
...
