Hmm, I did...

I've started gideon from a cli in order to get some more information
on what appears to be wrong and here the output just before the

kdevelop (core): Init auto project part
kio (KTrader): KServiceTypeProfile::offers( KDevelop/LanguageSupport,
kio (KTrader): No profile, using KServiceType::offers, result: 3
kdevelop (core): Loading service KDevCppSupport
kdecore (KLibLoader): library not found under
'module' but
under 'lib'
kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: library=libkdevcppsupport:
file=/usr/X11R6/lib/ Shared object
"libkdevcppsupport.a" not found
KCrash: crashing.... crashRecursionCounter = 2
KCrash: Application Name = gideon path = <unknown>

Perhaps this helps to shed some light onto the problem...
