Please help me.

I download kdevelop-1.2.tar.bz2 (5M) recently, but when I bunzip2 it, it asks me to use bzip2recover ,i do it.
it generate some rec0001rec0001.tar.bz2, when i use bunzip2 ,it again asks me to bzip2recover it,when I again do so,
it generate rec0001rec0001rec0001.tar.bz2.........,what shall i do ?
Please help me.
