Theoretical it should be possible to add support for other languages to 
KDevelop2, but nobody tried it as far as I know. (there is a 
KDevLanguageSupport interface).

It's very easy to write Applicationwizards plugins for KDevelop2, so 
hopefully we will see many Applicationtypes. At the moment only 2-3 people 
work on the KDevelop2 code, so please understand that this hasn't the top 
priority.
