Hi Falk,
you´re right...
the error page isn't correct... it is more historic, this should
change!!
BTW: the name is different, c_c++_reference and c_cpp_reference!!
If you would search for c_c++_reference.tar.gz in the documentation
directory you can install it by the "old fashion" way.
c_ccp_reference.tar.gz is made up with autoconf/automake stuff...
so you can simply install the c_cpp_reference by making:
$tar xvzf c_cpp_reference.tar.gz
$configure
$make
$make install <as root>
the right directory will be searched by ./configure.
AND don´t forget:
if you install the new stuff over an existing "old" kdevelop
installation, _you have to_
delete the following stuff before installing the c_cpp_reference!!
rm $(kde_htmldir)/de/kdevelop/reference/C/cref.html
rm $(kde_htmldir)/es/kdevelop/reference/C/cref.html
rm $(kde_htmldir)/ru/kdevelop/reference/C/cref.html
where $(kde_htmldir) has to be substituted with the directory in which
you can find the html files for every application:
On Suse this would be normally: /opt/kde/share/doc/HTML
Ciao
Walter
