setting up and installing KDevelop

Hi,

I'm running SUSE Linux 6.2.

When I create a normal KDE project I get an error message saying I haven't got
xgettext installed however I think I have. How can I be sure?

Also I get:

po/Makefile.am:10:variable 'POFILES' not defined
po/Makefile.am:1:variable 'POFILES' not defined
make: *** [all] Error 1
sh:./configure: No such file or directory

Also, I think I've got htdig installed, but I'm not having this registered by
KDevelop either.

Could someone help me with these problems?
