About Kdevelop + compiling KDE apps, Qt issue?

I saw a previous post about not being able to make KDE
apps... and saw that it might first be the include dir
for kde and then the post after that was that it might
be because QTDIR was pointing to QT2 which quite
possibly my situation.... if it is how can i keep QT2
wanting apps happy and have Kdevelop happy too?
