Mandrake 6.0 didn't either. It came with KDE 1.1.1 too. I couldn't find the
sources for what I had (kdelibs-1.1.1final-8mdk, or some such), so I found
the highest available version with "mdk" on rpmfind.net,it was something
like 1.1.2-38mdk (or some other large two digit build number). In order to
make sure what KDevelop used was synchronized properly with my system, I
also got the 1.1.2-mdk kdebase, support, and libs binaries and upgraded my
KDE to 1.1.2 :-)
