Where is C/C++ Reference?

I am running Caldera 2.3 and when I uncompressed c_c++_referrence at /opt/kde
it seemed to get recognized.  I am now able to read it from the help menu.
When I do a command:
echo $KDEDIR
I get
/opt/kde
Is that what you get?  If not, then try the path you get.
