I've downloaded a file called "qextmdi-1.0beta2.tgz" and installed it from
here.

Yes, I belive these are the candidates kdev suggests, but the project is
not created for them!!!!!

I took this from the header file, i believe it matches! 

 virtual void addWindow( QextMdiChildView* pView, QRect rectNormal,
QextMdi::AddWindowFlags flags = QextMdi::StandardAdd);
   virtual void addWindow( QextMdiChildView* pView, QPoint pos,
QextMdi::AddWindowFlags flags = QextMdi::StandardAdd);

QextMdi::AddWindowFlags flags = QextMdi::StandardAdd);
