KDevelop 1.0beta2 and Solaris

I downloaded the KDE-1.1.2 package for Solaris 7 x86 and it installed 
perfectly.  However, I cannot get KDevelop 1.0beta2 to compile at all.  I 
get a compilation error in the kmimemagic.cpp file, saying there is an 
implicit declaration of int readlink(...).  Has anyone succesfully compiled 
this on this platform?  Is there anything special I need to do/have?  Are 
there binaries availible?  Thanks for any help.  I REALLY need Kdevelop on 
Solaris for school.
