Thanks for the feedback. Here is a companion patch for kwrite, to add the
same 'Auto Copy Selection' enable/disable feature.

gunzip  kwriteautocopy.patch.gz

Copy kwriteautocopy.patch to the directory
above the kwrite sources

$ cd kdeutils-1.1.2/kwrite
$ patch -p1 < ../kwriteautocopy.patch
$ make
$ make install
