KDevelop 1.0 beta 3 & Qt ver 2.0.2

Thankyou very much, it is indeed the second letter after alpha.

My point and frustration still stands. 

I also received a reply stating that if I cared to used a distribution that
supported Kdevelop everything would work. I am using Mandrake 6.1 and
kdevelop-1.0beta2-2mdk. The letters mdk have a meaning, if you don't know it
you can look it up at the Mandrake web site (hint - the answer's in the
question).
