Subject: AW: ANNOUNCE: New KDevelop Design

I've been following this discussion for a while and I fully agree with Ralf.
If Mr. Climov really want's to improve KDevelop he should directly contact
the core developers, talk with them and make a better, if this is possible,
KDevelop.

As I mentioned in one of my previous mails, I already tried to contact them.
Two times. First time I got no answer, and the second times I've got a lot
of flames :-). Any ideeas how to deal with that? Maybe we should beg them
:-) ?

Not making an own branch with new developers.

I will advice people I'm working with that we subscribe one by one to the
core team :-). Subscribing as a team seams to scare the core developers...

 Otherwise it will
come as Ralf said. Two IDE cores and then a lot of struggle to figure out
which is the best.

Not if we come to an agreement on how to do that.

Conclusion IMHO:
- The KDevelop team should continue it's great work

Yes, that's what I was talking about.

- Mr. Climov, if you are really interessted in improving KDevelop talk to
the core developers and together setup a roadmap for the next major release
of KDevelop.

The point is that my team wants to speed up the whole process (and that's
why we wnat to branch), but it seems that with such a beginning we have no
chance to cooperate with the core developers.
