configure: error: You need giflib30

Hi,

I am trying to build Kdevelop 0.4, but get the following error from
configure:
checking for giflib... configure: error: You need giflib30. Please install
the kdesupport package

The problem is that kdesupport is installed!

I am running KDE 1.1.1 on RedHat 5.2. This package relies on RedHats own
RPM's:
	libgdbm, libjpeg and libungif.

These are installed.

libungif is version 3.0.4.
