Problems accessing c_c++_reference

Dear KDevelop developers,

I just tried out the latest snapshot kdevelop19990608 and it worked out very
nice. But I cannot find out how to set the correct path for the
c_c++_references. The error message tells me to only "copy the tar-file to my
KDEDIR (which in my case is /usr) and then untar it.". But, nevertheless,
nothing happens...

Any idea?
